Exciting things happen in Bio Fuels when Diesel prices are screaming towards $4/Gallon here in the US! The purpose of this coop is to help pull together the WVO Bio-Fuel community in Charleston SC but also to share resources and knowlege with the global network. We have focused on Strait Vegitable Oil (SVO) as Bio-Diesel is already well supported and does not offer the cost incentive less than $2.00/Gallon. In order to capitalize on this opportunity, modifications to your vehicles fuel system is required. Commertial kits are available that range from OEM quality to down right scary. I am a mechanical engineer with 10 years design experience for heavy truck manufactures. I will share my opinion, for what it is worth, and you can make your own judgements. We will be offering clean WVO to our members in the Low Country and we will document and offer a variety of kit designs and products to the general public.
